No I have not started my quilt… I rather enjoy not sleeping in the morning. ::grumbles:: Instead, I purchased 50 First Dates because I’m in a Hawaiian theme currently and took pictures of my fridge upstairs to follow up Wendy’s fridge meme. Are you excited?
First up – I had to make the Image Large for effect you see because this fridge houses food for Myself, My Husband, His Parents David & Linda, and his sisters, Liz & Frances. (Melissa doesn’t live at home anymore, she moved out because there was no fridge space har – har) So what’s with the shopping bags you ask? I will tell you… GROCERIES ARE EXPENSIVE! For whatever reason if Tristan & I buy groceries and don’t label every inch and then wrap it in a plastic bag it goes missing. It’s quite sad. The Eggo’s, Ben & Jerry’s, and Coffee Ice cream were all ours that we donated for the greater good and therefore unwrapped from their plastic hiding space. We’re nice. The fridge is pretty self explanatory except for the following items which I need to post more pictures of. Be prepared.
Photo 2:
You will notice the box is labeled “FOOD FOR TRISTAN & AIMEE” This further proves my point of disappearing food. I should also note that my in-laws made this because they felt guilty that our sisters were eating our money.
Photo 3:
That’s Liz’s milk… could you tell?
Now as you can imagine a little box and a little corner do not offer much space to do your grocery shopping. So to be fair I must also include the following photos:
Now this is on the floor of my own basement apartment. You’ll notice that it is the non-perishables, and the food I’ll eat first or has no chance upstairs, even if it is labeled. Please also notice that these items are also labeled and in their plastic shroud.
This little jem is my Haier green energy mini-fridge. Notice additional foods on top of the fridge as well as my “Office Space Flair Kit,” 5 lb dumbbell for toning, and “Rainy Day Fund” for saving up all my change. Also… my adorable coffee magnet. This we had to purchase for our beverages… be prepared for this waste of space:
Water = Necessity. I hate Acadia water. It tastes like crap. I much prefer the crisp clean taste of FIJI water, perhaps Poland Spring.
Sugar Free Jello = Also amazing. Especially after surgery. Same goes for the Gingerale.
Now the waste – SLIMFAST!!! Truth is I hate them, spent a lot on them & don’t have the heart to throw them away. Someday I’ll pawn them off on my sisters. Mu-ha-ha-ha…. Maybe I’ll just leave them upstairs, they’ll be sure to get taken that way!
Okay well that’s my super long fridge meme. I hope you enjoyed it!

This is one fascinating fridge!
That was pretty impressive! When I did Wendy’s fridge meme I had to hold myself in a little bit, cause I wanted to do it just like you did, and describe all the food! Yeah, give your sisters your Slimfast! They will love that! Right?
I thought I commented on this, I really did. Oh wait … you know what? I did it on my own blog. But I still give you credit for this. You did a beautiful job. Everyone did a better job on this meme than me, and I’m the one who started it!
@ Wendy – Haha! I saw that post
Thank you! I wanted to do it because of my “special” food hording situation.
