Today at work I made the mistake of mumbling “I hate people” in front of Mrs.I-Know-It-All-&-Am-Holier-Than-Thou. Her response was “Honey, you are in the wrong business if you hate people.” (Might I add it was with a little bit of a snooty flair) My question is this, Is there a good business to hate people? If so, sign me up. I’m willing to be they are sarcastic, bitter and an absolute delight to be around.
Now for a mixed bag of an entry, I’ve got an internal monologue running in my head and I need to blog it out.
- Where do all of you bloggers get such a large readership? I see your hits and your counters and your blogrolls and it’s massive! Your comments alone are so large! How do you do it!? It seems as though I’ve got the same bloggers that visit and I visit but that’s it! It’s almost sad… nobody is interested in my thoughts? Aww come on!
- Auburn Honda, if you are reading this – go suck a fat, unpleasant dick. I hate you so much. Why on Earth are you continuing to process my loan for a car I never got. For a car I was only “interested” in and canceled the whole thing within 24 hours? Why is it, that every single day I receive another letter saying I was denied a car loan due to too many recent credit inquiries? WHYYYYY must you destroy my credit every single day? Above all else, why is it, that when I call you to discuss this matter, you tell me it’s impossible for me to have any financing done if I never bought a car??? Well no shit, but some how you are continuing to apply me because your name is on every single letter I receive.
- “Denise Richards – It’s Complicated” – I love you. This show is amazing. I am so addicted. Why isn’t it on right now?
- Can somebody, anybody please give my husband a job? I think I’m losing my mind with all of these finances…
- Why did FICO tell me that I could drastically improve my credit score by paying off 90% of my debt. NO SHIT SHERLOCK. Captain Obvious on the line! Is it really that easy? Gee Whiz, why didn’t I think of that!?
- Why does such a small cat make such smelly poops?
- I wonder if it’s really possible to lose this weight by October?
- How is it, that the girl can afford one meal a day (usually a discounted meal from work consisting of two eggs poached) cannot lose weight?
- Yay! I Pasta Roni is on sale this week 10/$10 – this means I can get pasta roni instead of Ramen for dinner tonight. Whoopdee-doo.
- I made some changes on my blog – little link pictures to each of my “other” blogs, a donation page, and some cutesy other little things. Also, Dragonflyfit has a new header

Hmm what’s for dinner tonight? Discount ketchup? Pickles? Assorted Mayo/Mustard on the spoon? Hmm… what to eat what to eat.
You need to have a letter attached to your credit that says how Auburn Honda is constantly hitting your credit report — you can do this, have an explanation attached — and you also need to call them and explain what they’re doing and tell them to remove all those hits.
As for blog hits, it’s really hard work. Are you pinging? You need to ping each time you post — ping at Technorati (even though WP is supposed to do it automatically, it doesn’t always), pingmyblog.com, and join Zimbio.com. Next, you need to comment on tons of other blogs regularly. It’s very time consuming but it works. Also, once a week send out a mailing to all your friends with a link to your blog…BUT USE THE BLIND COPY to put their addresses in. Some people hate it when they know other people can see their address. But sending out a weekly reminder to non-blogging friends has always worked for me. Another thing: become a regular commenter on passive-aggressivenotes.com. I am and I get a lot of hits that come from that site. Be sure your name is linked to your blog.
Is that a photo of ice water or boiling water? Either way it looks beautiful. But you need to go to the food pantry. There’s no shame in that, it was created for people who need food. And you need food. I just forced my sister to go to hers and she’s glad she did…they gave her four bags of groceries and it’s all good stuff, not canned lima beans and powdered milk.
That photo is boiling water, as in, I have no food to put into the water. LOL. I remember seeing that on a commercial for Visa years ago and it’s stuck with me. With all the fires and displaced people around here there are people with a lot more need of the food pantry/salvation army items than I am. I’d rather them get food and shelter before I wore about myself. Thank you for the suggestion though…
Blog hits I joined all your suggested places. But I noticed that pingmyblog.com had a lot of unsuccessful entries saying “try again” so hopefully that gets worked out. Damn thats a lot of work, but I suppose it’s totally worth it for mass readership!! I just found a blog http://www.mattlogelin.com about a truly heartbreaking story & this guys life. You should check it out if you haven’t already. It’s a really good blog but the way he writes (weird prose like paragraphs) can make it a little harder to get used to.
I’m in the process of examining my credit report and making necessary changes. I’ve also called Auburn Honda a kajillion times. Freaking jerks.
