Yesterday Tristan found this while getting the mail, I couldn’t wait to take pictures so I could show you all.

This is our praying mantis friend… I think I’ll call him… Olli. He lives outside and I’ve never really seen one for real, so this was pretty cool. California is pretty cool.

On the downside, I hate my dell even more.  I’ve taken a lot of time trying not to hate this god-forsaken machine, but I just can’t get past it’s short bus tendencies.

Yesterday, I closed my laptop and THIS is what happened. Unbelievable.

I fucking hate Dell computers. I’ll never buy one again. They are a piece of shit. This is the second one to spontaneously malfunction, although I should be lucky it’s not anything with the hardware because that would suck.

So I suppose that’s all for now. I have new music to listen to at the gym so I’m going to go try it out. Wish me luck!

Tomorrow’s To-Do List

Tomorrow is July 1st. It’s only 9:13pm here but it’s July on the East Coast. That’s weird. You’re in a different month! FREAKS! Ha-Ha… anyway… I have a to-do list since it’s my day off. I’m listing it here so I can be proud of my accomplishments tomorrow.

  1. Say “Rabbit, Rabbit” immediately upon waking. Or, at midnight. Or both. I could use some good luck this month!
  2. Register my car for CA plates. (Pay applicable fees – $160)
  3. Weight Watchers Meeting around Noon
  4. Gym for free-weights and treadmill, then home for the elliptical
  5. Hope for Tristan to get his night job
  6. Clean & Organize apartment
  7. Clean out car & apply new Third Eye Blind sticker to rear window (woo-hoo!)
  8. Start a food journal (I’ve heard this helps immensely – also will help with point counting)
  9. Clean out cabinets & fridge of all “bad for you” foods.
  10. Return JC Penney shoes
  11. Laundry in the recently found laundry room IN MY OWN BUILDING! woo hoo!
  12. Continue Reading book
  13. Consider going blonde again….
  14. Balance Checkbook
  15. Look into renting a post office box
  16. Buy a shredder and shred all of my documents before dumping them in the community homeless dumpster. Eesh!

i didn’t do too badly i guess….

That’s all I can think of for right now but I know I’ll think of  more later
